Warranty

All F3 products carry a 10-year to lifetime limited warranty to be free of manufacturing defects in workmanship. Component parts not manufactured by F3, such as electrical light fixtures, light bulbs, and electrical power centers, are warranted by those respective manufacturers.

  • All metal products have electrostatic powder coating to ensure durability.
  • All cushions for sofas/sectionals have drop-in coil springs encased in the foam of the cushion wrapped in Dacron, preventing the cushion from ever sagging for the lifetime of the product.
  • Metal beds have a 1000lb+ to 1500lb+ tested weight limit.
  • All textiles have 100K+ “Wyzenbeek” double rub test with a 3-5 year warranty.

To obtain a return authorization for a damaged product, first contact your sales representative or customer service representative. Generally, we will send a sales or customer service representative out to inspect the damaged product to determine the nature and cause of the damage. If you obtain return authorization from a Customer Service Representative, F3, at our discretion, will either (a) provide a replacement or (b) repair your product. If deemed defective, the product will be repaired or replaced and shipped back to the customer at no cost. The cost of transportation to our warehouse will be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by an authorized F3 representative and customer.

This warranty is void if F3 deems said damage was caused by abuse, negligence, modification, or accident.

**All warranties are limited to the original purchaser for normal student housing use by persons weighing 250 lbs. or less. This warranty will not cover labor, freight, or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, vandalism, rusting, acts of nature, or any other event beyond the control of F3. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that may result from normal use. Liability for incidental or consequential damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The user assumes all risk of injury from the use of this product. In no event will F3 be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or any loss or injury to person or PROPERTY, resulting from the manufacture, sale, and/or use of the product, unless such exclusions are prohibited by state law.

Limited Warranty on Task Chairs

F3 chairs are under warranty from the date of purchase to one of the dates listed below. Defects in material and workmanship are included in this warranty and are as follows:

  • 10 years on all non-moving metal parts
  • 3 years on component parts, including control mechanisms, casters, plastic parts, pneumatic cylinders, and wood
  • 2 years on chair cover material (fabric, vinyl) and foam against wear and deterioration. Because leather tends to scratch, scuff, and develop blemishes naturally, it is not included in this warranty.

All task chairs are BIFMA tested and approved, the highest recognized global testing.
